What South Tyrolean museums offers for families

Spending a beautiful summer day in a South Tyrolean Museum and not outdoors, is almost a pity. But even at 300 sunny days in the year it happen that one in a family holiday in South Tyrol is foul.

In the Archaeology Museum (Tel: +39 0471 320120) in Bolzano families enter already whit 16 €. The family-ticket also allows free access to the family room in the months of July and August. On International Museum Day, however, kids get even free to the Iceman.

Also exciting for children is the Churburg in Schluderns with the largest armory of Europe, the museum Ladin, where children can listen to old legends and fables, the Taufers Castle, where children can participate at the witching hour and the Natural History Museum (Tel: +39 0471 412975) in Bozen, in which children are invited to the "Kids Night".
