You believe that riding in rough water is too dangerous for your kids? Far from it! On quiet sections on the Ahr river, Rienz river, Passer river, the Eisack river and Etsch river were proposed rafting-trips for children over 5 years.

The best known rafting company in South Tyrol is the "Rafting Club Activ" from Sand in Taufers in Tauferer Ahrntal Valley. The club offers rafting whitewater trips in South Tyrol, and ensures that the kids have fun and come safely back from the water.

This requires the kids have to learn in the dry how to sit in the boat, how to paddle, which commands the have to follow, and above all, that rafting means teamwork, before they go into the water. Only together they can fetch back someone who has fall from the boat!
