Visit Juval Castel with the whole family

The artistic heritage of castles in South Tyrol

Juval Castle was built as far back as 1278 by Hugo von Montalban. After being passed by various owners in 1913 was bought by William Rowland, who devoted so much attention to its restoration.

This is a ideal place to spend your vacantion in South Tyrol with the whole family.

Since 1983 is Reinhold Messner residence.The castle is located on the hill Juval near Snales, 15 km from Merano. The castle can be reached on foot (about 1 hour) or using the shuttle bus.

Just entered in Castel Juval you find a restaurant, "Hofschank Schlossbauer" with delicacies peasant and home-made cakes to the delight of all the children.
