On a visit to the iceman
Visiting Ötzi in Bozen with the whole family
Since 1998 there is an Archeology Museum in Bozen, South Tyrol’s capital. It documents the history of South Tyrol from the Old and Middle Stone Age (15,000 BC.) to the time of the Carolingian around 800 BC, but the main attraction is undoubtedly the Iceman, the oldest South Tyrolean, the iceman.Especially for families, the museum offers a family-card. For the special price of € 16,00 families can visit the whole museum and in July and August they can use the family-room for free.
Keen on a special birthday? In the archaeology museum in Bolzano children from 8 to 11 years can celebrate their birthday. 10 children may be invited and together they moved to an adventurous journey back in time.
