Bruneck Castle: interactive exhibition for children

A trip back to old Egypt specially for the little ones

How spark interest in old Egypt in times of Spongebob and Simpsons? Surely not whit boring books and even more boring museums.

Because of that, some creative museum-thinkers planned an interactive exhibition about old Egypt in Bruneck Castle in Bruneck in South Tyrol especially for children.

In numerous interactive stations children learn more about the thrilling history and culture of the country, they discover the secrets of the pyramids and mummies, the hieroglyph writing and the gods…

The kids also masquerade themselves as pharaohs and can immerse themselves totally in the past and learn by doing how the old Egypt was. Expert people take care of the kids and answer to any question about the old Egypt. Adults don’t have to accompany their kids.

Opening hours and tickets

  • 7th July to 25th August 2007: Daily of 10:30 - 18.00 is continuous
  • 26th August to 9th September 2007: Daily from 10:30 - 13.00 and from 15.00 - 18.00
  • 10th September to 27th October 2007: MO - SA 8:30 - 12.00 for groups and classes: Required by reserving. (According to declaration too in the afternoon)
